The PIRAU Communications Hub for Emergency Network
This real-time communications server allows the simultaneous processing of 4 emergency calls in full duplex. Based on a powerful embedded real-time software, it provides a robust and proven solution for handling emergency calls. It manages and administers GSM, ETHERNET, optical fiber and telephone emergency call stations. It is compatible with all emergency call terminals from French manufacturers.
The PIRAU network communication server: advanced functions
These are:
°The commissioning and decommissioning of PAU,
°The taking of calls from unconfigured PAUs,
°Automatic cable cut detection and optical security,
°The auto-configuration from the central database,
°Monitoring and threshold alarm of registered operators (configurable),
°Detection and signaling of competitive calls,

The PIRAU network switch: composition
The PIRAU communications concentrator is composed of a 3U chassis comprising:
°a central unit
°4 slots for operator station card,
°8 slots for RAU antenna link card (emergency call network),
An external RAM900 power supply provides the necessary voltages for operation. A RAM900 rack can supply 2 PIRAU.
The usual functions of the PIRAU communication concentrator :
°The detection and signaling of calls,
°The setting in voice, putting on hold a PAU,
°The management of multiple calls,
°The management of multiphonies (on the same optical antenna ETON system),
°The management of operator stations in operating mode with Voice over IP,
°The management of the 10 levels of response from the operator stations,
°The handling of security overflows from emergency calls,
°The management of multi-protocol antennas (ETON optics, IP VISIOBOX, GSM MTXG9000, optical copper CS, Alcatel copper or optical, EROS, GSM/RTC and telephone input)
°The on-demand PAU test (unit, per antenna, per network),
°The programmable multi-mode automatic test,
°The dynamic control of surrounding materials (IP phones, gateways, …),
°The insertion of waiting and greeting voice messages to the telephone caller, the processing of assistance messages in foreign languages,
°IP telephone management (standard H323 and SIP (G711).
